More than the main game, Somehow We Manage has short-term events with a set number of milestones that give players rewards. You can then use these rewards to buy upgrades from the in-game store. However, note that these events are slightly different than the main campaign. Every desk, character, and decor starts over at level one. The currency is also specific to each event.

As it is based on the sitcom, fans can get to relive some of the iconic scenes. Even the iconic intro sequences have been remade into the game's cartoonish form. Moreover, many of the series' best jokes will be in the game, although they will be presented in a comic format. With this, the comedy does not quite land the same way when the actors deliver them on the show.
